Custom Made Orthotics

Custom made orthotics help our feet create a better foundation and distribute body weight correctly, resulting in a healthier body. Our feet are what move us throughout the day! We stand, walk, and run on them. If our feet don’t function at peak efficiency, the rest of our body can’t either.

We are proud to offer Footmaxx products. Your Orthotics will be customized using the following process:

Step 1: You will walk across the Footmaxx force plate, which contains 960 capacitance points. Your walk is scanned by a computer 30 times per second, allowing for 3/100 second interval analysis of each footstep.

Step 2: Dr. Akhavan will review your preliminary test results with you, taking the time to explain the gait line and the 2D and 3D images. For more severe conditions, additional examinations will be recommended.

Step 3: Dr. Akhavan will send your details to Footmaxx and request a gait and pressure analysis report and/or prescription orthotics.

Step 4: Once at the Footmaxx lab, your file will be fully analyzed by the Footmaxx diagnostic software, which uses advanced algorithms to analyze your details and compare them to normal gait patterns.

Step 5: A semi-rigid orthotic module is intrinsically posted, forming and molding the angle and height of the arch of the orthotic module based on the prescription needed to correct your abnormal bio-mechanics.

Step 6: Footmaxx materials are carefully selected to offer wearability and durability.

Step 7: The orthotics are sent to the Footmaxx quality control department where they are carefully checked against Dr. Akhavan’s instructions and test results.

Step 8: When your orthotics are approved by quality control, they are shipped to Dr. Akhavan. Your digital patient data is permanently stored at Footmaxx, which will make your progress easy to track.

Dr. Ali Akhavan and his staff are very courteous and professional. I had been living with a chronic pain for years in both my shoulder and hip. After receiving Shockwave Therapy from Dr. Akhavan, I wake up and I'm pain free all day. I wish I had known of this treatment years earlier. I would highly recommend the treatment, as well as Dr. Akhavan.

I can’t speak more highly of Doctor Ali Akhavan. When I first visited I was suffering from chronic pain for over a year, seeing everyone I could to try solve the issue. In a very short time with Doctor Ali, I was able to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. After only a month of treatment, my pain had reduced by more than 80%. At the end of my treatment
